Book has likely had a DW protecting it for most of its life as the boards are reasonably clean. However, the spine has faded where the old DW became torn at the top and bottom of the spine. Some bumping to the two lower corners. Binding is still very tight, but the pages have some slight but consistent foxing throughout.

Booksellers stamp and previous owners name written on front map, which has small damage. Also owners initials "HTW" have been scrawled on the page block (top, side and bottom - see photos) and his name appears on the Title page.

Overall, a rare Idriess title in good condition.
